I went on a sightseeing bus tour of northern Okinawa with my kids. Driving long distances in a rental car can be exhausting, but on a bus, we could relax during the trip, so our whole family was able to enjoy the day. The kids were thrilled to see the huge whale shark at the Churaumi Aquarium, and they were also amazed by the beautiful ocean at Kouri Island. They were also happy to receive some Okinawan sweets.

I took a sightseeing bus tour of northern Okinawa that departed from Naha. I was able to efficiently visit some of Okinawa’s most famous attractions, such as the Churaumi Aquarium and Manzamo, making for a very fulfilling day. Dinner on the sunset cruise was seriously amazing lol. The Okinawan sunset sinking into the ocean was so beautiful and super emotional, and with the live music on board, the vibe was incredible—I was hyped the whole time! The food was delicious too, and the value for money was outstanding lol. Whether you’re a couple or with friends, you should definitely go!

Since you can efficiently visit the main tourist spots in the northern part of the island in a single day, I feel this is a great value for travelers who don’t rent a car. The views at the Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island were spectacular, and I really appreciated the bonus of receiving Okinawan sweets. However, I felt the time allotted at each spot was a bit short, so it would have been even better if the itinerary had allowed for a little more time for those who want to explore at a leisurely pace. Overall, I’m satisfied with the tour.
