Hijagawa (Hijagawa River)

The Hiyagawa River flows through the central part of the main island of Okinawa,It boasts the largest watershed area on the main island.
It is also used as a water source for the southern part of the main island of Okinawa. Along the river are the ruins of Koshira Castle, Yara Castle Ruins Park, and other places. The lower reaches of the river are designated as a prefectural bird and animal sanctuary, allowing visitors to observe unspoiled nature.

Gesashi River
