フィールドとなる比謝川（ひじゃがわ）は、波や風の影響を受けにくく川の流れが穏やかで安心してSUPに挑戦することが可能です。さらに明るい時間帯だと、目が行き届くのでより安心して体験できます。

比謝川に生息する生き物など大迫力の展示室

アクティビティへ出発する前に、担当ガイドが展示室で川にある植物や生き物の説明をいたします。

見たことない色んな動植物たちに出会えます☆

比謝川には、数多くの個性あふれる生き物たちが生息しています。干潟の沼地で観察できる、シオマネキというカニやトントンミーという魚に最もよく出会えます。

運がよければ、エサを求めて降りてきたマングースやカワセミが観察できることもあります。

自然観察も同時に満喫できる！

マングローブとは『汽水域などに生息する植物』を指しており、比謝川ではオヒルギand ... andメヒルギが自生し、特にメヒルギが多く見られます。

環境に合わせて工夫をしながら命をつないでいる、とてもユニークなパイオニア植物です。

小規模なマングローブ地帯ですが、生命の神秘がたくさん詰まっています。
