What is Gorilla Chop?
There are many places in Okinawa where beautiful coral can be seen, and this is one of the best coral spots on the main island of Okinawa.
The gorilla chop got its nickname from the shape of the rock, which "looked like a gorilla chopping.
It is also recommended that you can easily enjoy swimming in the sea for free. Changing rooms and hot showers are conveniently located nearby!
How to play with Gorilla Chop
Here are some recommendations for fun at popular beaches with some of the cleanest waters on the main island of Okinawa.
snorkeling
The depth of the gorilla chop is about 1~8 m. There are also a wide range of relatively shallow areas.
You can see many coral reefs from near the beach, making it an easy challenge for those who are new to the area and a little apprehensive.
diving
Diving is an underwater activity in which you carry a tank filled with air on your back and dive into the ocean to enjoy the underwater world.
You can enjoy the underwater world while breathing, allowing you to explore deeper waters than with a snorkel.
