What is Roadside Station Kaneda?

Chatan Town, Central Okinawa Main Islandand Okinawa City, Yomitan VillageMichi no Eki Kadena is located in the town of Kadena, which is sandwiched between the two towns of Kadena (Kadena-cho),It is popular as a roadside station with stores where you can buy local souvenirs and restaurant facilities.

It is also a spot from which one can view Kadena Air Base, the largest U.S. military base in Okinawa.

How to play at Roadside Station Kadena

This is a popular tourist spot where enthusiasts come with cameras in hand because it is a spot where you can feel the history and everyday scenery of Okinawa by looking into the rooftop observation deck that overlooks the Kadena Air Force Base, the largest of its kind in Okinawa, and the learning exhibition room.
