2億5千万年前に海の中で形成された石灰岩が、地殻変動によって地表に現れてできたもの。
さらに数百万年という長い年月のあいだ雨や風などに溶食・侵食され奇石が林立する独特の風景がつくりあげられました。
広大な森には2つのトレッキングコースがあり、奇岩や巨大ガジュマル、大海原を望む山頂などダイナミックな景観が楽しめます。
また、琉球神話が伝わるこの場所にはパワースポットの聖地として訪れるのも人気です。
