Ie Island, located about a 30-minute ferry ride from Motobu Port on the main island of Okinawa, is a diving spot known for its dynamic underwater terrain, including large caves, arches, and drop-offs.

On many days, visibility exceeds 40 meters, and the deep blue sea—known as "Ie Blue"—stretches out before you. With its unspoiled, uncrowded environment, you can enjoy an extraordinary underwater experience.

Explore Famous Spots with an Overwhelming Sense of Scale

From the vast Ohoba No. 2 Cave—which is about the size of a gymnasium—to Ie Island Canyon, with its Grand Canyon-like range of rocky mountains (diving available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and U.S. holidays), and the magical Kananzaki Dome, where sunlight streams in like a spotlight, every dive site offers a truly overwhelming sense of scale.

There are also plenty of opportunities to encounter large marine life, such as sleeping sharks, sea turtles, and huge schools of bigeye trevally.
