Getting around was easy, too. Since I didn’t have to drive myself, I was able to efficiently visit major tourist attractions like the Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island. I was happy to receive the complimentary snacks, but if I had to nitpick, I wish I could have spent a little more time at each spot.

Since it was my first time in Okinawa and I wasn’t confident about driving, I decided to take a bus tour. It turned out to be the perfect choice—I was able to efficiently visit all the famous sights I wanted to see, like the Churaumi Aquarium and Manzamo! It was also nice to be able to relax in the cool comfort of the bus while traveling. I really enjoyed the limited-edition snacks, too.

Bus tours where you don’t have to drive yourself are so easy! The ocean around Kouri Island is absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoyed strolling around American Village☆ The Tropical Dream Center was full of rare plants—I was completely satisfied! First, we received a thorough briefing before entering the mangrove forest, and then we headed out onto the Okushu River. The slow, leisurely journey through the trees was incredibly pleasant, and it allowed me to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The guide explained the differences between the four types of mangroves, which I found very interesting. I was also given the digital photos for free, so I was completely satisfied with the tour.
