What is Kokusai Dori?
Located in the heart of Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, Kokusai-dori Avenue is an area that has grown remarkably from a postwar burnt-out area and is also known as the "Miracle Mile" because it is almost a mile (1.6 km) long.
It is the busiest downtown area in Okinawa with many stores.
How to play on Kokusai Dori
The road is lined with souvenir stores and restaurants on both sides of the street, where you can find souvenirs from all over Okinawa.
You can enjoy Okinawan food and atmosphere at many bars.
Around Kokusai-dori, there are also tourist attractions such as Shuri Castle, Namiue Beach, and Makishi Public Market, which was renovated in March 2023.
