What is Ryukyumura?
This theme park is located in Onna Village in central Okinawa Prefecture, where visitors can experience traditional Okinawan culture. The park is located in an old private house that was actually lived in in the past and is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
There are more than 30 types of cultural experiences to choose from, so you can spend a whole day here and never get bored!
How to play at Ryukyumura
The biggest attraction is that you will feel as if you are going back in time to the old days in Okinawa. History buffs will be especially excited!
There is a wide variety of hands-on activities such as Ryukyusoku (Okinawan traditional dress) and coloring Shi-sa (Okinawan traditional Okinawan folk art). There is also a roof, so you can play even on rainy days.
Early reservations are recommended as they fill up quickly.

| Access | When coming from Naha Airport From Naha Airport, take National Route 58 north for 30 km. 60 minutes by chartered bus, cab or rental car. If you are coming by bus From Naha, take the Okinawa Bus or Ryukyu Bus route bound for Nago, and get off at Ryukyu-mura-mae (Ryukyu Village) in about 60 minutes. |
