Okinawa in winter is a paradise for humpback whales!
Humpback whales spent the summer in the northern seas around the Aleutian Islands, feeding on an abundance of food.
In winter, they return to the waters around Zamami Island, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs about 40 km west of Naha City in Okinawa, a warm and quiet place with quiet waves, to breed.
