This is a recommended activity to enjoy the beautiful sea of Ogimi Village ^^.
I joined the tour with my 2-year-old child, and the Sabani was very stable and safe. It was a precious experience for the whole family to cruise the beautiful ocean of Okinawa while learning about the history of the Sabani and how to build it from the guide who is a ship carpenter!
We were able to hear about the history of the Sabani from a ship's carpenter, and cruising on an old-fashioned wooden sailing boat was comfortable and relaxing.
The cruise was relaxing with a nice breeze.
It was a wonderful experience! We were able to enjoy the beautiful Okinawan scenery while riding on a traditional boat.
The guide's explanations were detailed and easy to understand. It was fun to learn how to maneuver the boat using the sails and to actually try rowing.
