北谷でホエールウォッチングが楽しめるのは、例年12月末から4月頃までです。

中でも見頃はJanuary–Marchで、この時期は出産や子育てのために多くのザトウクジラが沖縄の海へやってきます。

3月後半になると北の海へ帰り始める個体も増えてきます。

確実に会いたい方は、1月〜2月の早めの時期を狙うのがおすすめですよ。

ツアーの開催期間は会社ごとに少しずつ異なるため、予約前に必ず確認しましょう。

出航場所と所要時間・料金の目安

北谷のツアーは、北谷町の海沿いにある港周辺に集合して出航するスタイルが一般的です。

集合場所や出航場所はツアーによって異なるため、予約時に確認しておくと安心ですよ。

所要時間は受付や説明を含めて2時間半〜3時間前後が目安です。

船酔いが心配な方の対策

冬の沖縄の海は、風が強く波が高い日も少なくありません。

船酔いは、「最悪だった」という感想につながる一番の原因です。

乗船前は食べすぎ・飲みすぎを避け、睡眠もしっかりとっておきましょう。
