What is Manza Gauze?
Manzamo, located in Onna Village in the northern part of Okinawa's main island, consists of coastal cliffs made of Ryukyu limestone and vast lawns, and is said to have been named Manzamo because King Shokei of the Ryukyu Kingdom praised it in the early 18th century as "good enough to seat all people.
Mou is an Okinawan dialect word for "leaf" or "meadow.
How to play at Manzakage
The rock that looks like an elephant's nose is said to be the best photo spot in Manzakage.
The natural shape of the island was created by erosion, so you can feel the greatness of nature. On a clear day, the ocean shines with brilliant colors, and at sunset, the sunset looks very beautiful, so it is definitely a spot that cannot be missed for Instagram viewing.
