What is Nakagusuku Castle Ruins?
A Japanese castle that existed in Kitanakagusuku and Nakagusuku villages, Nakagami County, Okinawa Prefecture, it is a historic castle ruin known as the gusuku (castle) of Gosamaru, the 15th century King Shotaikyu of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
The castle was built in a straight line from northeast to southwest on a 160-meter-high hill along Nakagusuku Bay on the east coast of Okinawa Island, and was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site in December 2000.

How to play at Nakagusuku Castle Ruins
It is famous for having survived the ravages of World War II and is the most intact in the prefecture.
It is also known as a scenic spot, and standing on the castle wall, you can see Nakagusuku Bay (Pacific Ocean) to the east and the East China Sea to the west, as well as the Katsuren Peninsula, Chinen Peninsula, and even the surrounding oceanic islands, making it a great place to view Okinawa's spectacular scenery.
