伊江島ダイビング協会は2004年に設立された団体で、島内のダイビング事業者が参加する団体です。

会員は伊江漁業協同組合の組合員でもあり、漁協と連携しながら活動しているのが特徴。

係留ブイの運用や水中清掃などを通じて、サンゴ礁を守る取り組みを続けています。

環境保全とマナーへの取り組み

協会では、すべてのダイビングポイントに係留ブイを設置し、アンカリングによるサンゴへの影響を防いでいます。

大きな流れ網などのゴミが見つかった際には、協力して撤去する活動も行っていますよ。

参加する私たちも、サンゴや生き物に触れないなど基本的なマナーを守りたいですね。
