I took a bus tour of northern Okinawa departing from Naha. It was a very rewarding day, as I was able to efficiently visit Okinawa’s major tourist attractions, such as the Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island. It was a well-rounded itinerary that saved me the trouble of driving myself and included admission tickets and special perks.

The kids had a great time, too. Although the bus ride was long, they were thrilled by the huge tanks at the aquarium, and the beautiful ocean at Kouri Island seemed to be a wonderful experience for them as well. Both the driver and the guide were very kind to the children, which allowed us as parents to enjoy the day with peace of mind. We were also delighted to receive the complimentary tart.

I highly recommend this bus tour of northern Okinawa! Not only will you get to visit the Churaumi Aquarium, but you’ll also have plenty of time in a single day to enjoy the beautiful ocean at Kouri Island and the breathtaking views at Manzamo♪ It’s super easy since you don’t have to drive yourself, and it’s great that you can relax during the trip☆ The red sweet potato tart I got as a bonus was delicious too, so if you’re on the fence, you should definitely give it a try!

I took this tour while on a trip to Okinawa with my husband! We took photos together against the backdrop of the beautiful ocean on Kouri Island and were moved as we looked up at the whale sharks at the Churaumi Aquarium—it made for such wonderful memories☆ It was also really nice to be able to relax and chat together during the bus ride, without the stress of driving! I was also happy to receive the red sweet potato tart as a bonus gift♪

Since I don't have a driver's license, this tour—which takes you to the main tourist spots by bus—was a real lifesaver. I was also able to take my time exploring the Churaumi Aquarium. However, the meeting time was a little early, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

First, we departed from Naha and headed north, taking in the scenery from the bus window. Next, we visited Pineapple Park and were captivated by the beautiful ocean at Kouri Island. In the afternoon, at the main attraction, the Churaumi Aquarium, I was awestruck by the sheer power of the giant whale sharks, and finally, I enjoyed the breathtaking views at Manzamo. I wouldn’t have been able to see all of this on my own, so it was a truly wonderful and worthwhile tour.

No matter where you look, there are nothing but amazing photo spots! The deep blue sea around Kouri Island and the dramatic scenery at Manzamo were so beautiful that I ended up taking tons of photos! That said, if I’d had a little more time at the aquarium, I could have taken even more photos—then it would have been perfect.

The emerald-green sea stretching as far as the eye could see and the majestic natural scenery of Manzamo simply cleansed my soul... As I gazed at the scenery while crossing the Kouri Bridge, it felt as though the hustle and bustle of everyday life was slowly melting away into the waves… Standing in front of the huge tank at the Churaumi Aquarium, I lost track of time and experienced a truly blissful, soothing moment.
