19:00		Gathering (reception), explanation of the tour, and departure by courtesy car ➡︎ We will move into the jungle in search of many creatures.
		Sneaking into the jungle! ➡︎We will proceed with a guide while listening to explanations about the insects and animals that live in Yanbaru.
		Explore points along roads, forest trails, and riversides! ➡︎LED lights and black lights are used to sneak a peek at the creatures.
21:00		End of tour Return to the meeting place by ➡︎ shuttle. (If it's a clear day, you can get a photo present with the stars...)

The night tour began with a warm welcome from a wild Yanbaru rail. We were greeted by all sorts of insects, including lizard-like creatures and tree-climbing lizards, and to top it all off, a snake even made an appearance—it was a truly eventful experience. Exploring Yanbaru at night was seriously awesome lol. Walking through the pitch-black jungle was super thrilling, and I was so hyped when I spotted the rare Yanbaru rail (lol). The guide’s stories were interesting too, and you can really experience all that Okinawa has to offer at night, so you should definitely go!

I was so moved by the natural beauty of Yanbaru during my last visit to Okinawa that I decided to come back this time for this night tour, which lets you experience the forest after dark. As always, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and I was truly amazed when he spotted a Yanbaru rail sleeping in the darkness. The sight of the insects glowing mystically was also beautiful. No matter how many times I visit, there are always new discoveries to be made—it’s a wonderful tour that never disappoints.

The silence of the Yanbaru Forest, shrouded in darkness, truly cleansed my soul... As I walked through the nighttime forest guided by our tour guide, it felt as though the hustle and bustle of daily life was slowly melting away into the darkness… I was soothed by the adorable sight of the Yanbaru rail sleeping in the trees and the magical sight of the gently glowing insects, and I was able to spend a truly peaceful and happy time… The photos I received are also precious treasures to me…

Even though I was there alone, I felt completely at ease, and the guide was so friendly and approachable that I had a wonderful evening. As we ventured deeper into the Yanbaru Forest, glowing insects fluttered about in the silence, making me feel as if I’d wandered into a fantasy world. I even got to see a sleeping Yanbaru rail, making this a luxurious solo trip where I was completely immersed in the grandeur of nature.

I think it’s good value for the money. Exploring the Yanbaru forest at night and observing the rare Yanbaru rail and glow-worms was a truly rewarding experience for nature lovers. The guide’s explanations were thorough and informative. However, if I had to mention one thing, there were some sections with uneven terrain, so I recommend wearing sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.

Nothing but Instagram-worthy spots! The night in the Yanbaru Forest was so mysterious—with glowing insects and creatures I’d never seen before—every angle was picture-perfect♪ I was so happy to get a free photo as a souvenir☆ If I had to mention one thing, it’s that it’s dark underfoot, so I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes!

Our children were thrilled and had a wonderful time. Their eyes sparkled the whole time with excitement as we explored the Yanbaru Forest at night, and the whole family was deeply moved when we were lucky enough to spot a sleeping Yanbaru rail. The guide explained the natural surroundings in a way that was easy for our children to understand, so as parents, we learned a lot and were very grateful. It became a wonderful family memory.
