Q. What kind of clothes should I wear?

In warmer months, wear a swimsuit and a rash guard, or a T-shirt and shorts that can get wet. Wetsuits are recommended when temperatures and water temperatures are cooler.

Q. What do I need to bring for Yanbaru trekking?

Waterproof trekking shoes, a hat, insect repellent, drinking water, and rain wear are required as basic equipment. Equipment rental is available for some tours. Please check each plan page for details.

小学低学年の子供と参加しました。 1.5時間と甘くみていたら思ったより山登りコース！ですが危険な箇所はゆっくりと歩いたり、こまめに休憩&やんばるの森の情報をいただけるので疲れはあまり感じませんでした。かなり強風で寒いくらいの日だったので生き物は少なめでしたが、それでもキノボリトカゲや珍しいハルザキヤツシロランの花、あちこちにいる珍しいカタツムリ、カラフルなタニシ、ぞわっとくる虫達もいたりしてドキドキワクワクしながらの散策ができました。ガジュマルの王様は圧巻でした！ガンガラーの谷のガジュマルは見てましたがそれとはまた別の迫力があり圧倒されました。見る価値ありです。子供が終始目をキラキラさせながら楽しんでいたのが何よりです。大人も子供も経験すべきアクティビティだと思います。
