Q. What kind of clothes should I wear?

In warmer months, wear a swimsuit and a rash guard, or a T-shirt and shorts that can get wet. Wetsuits are recommended when temperatures and water temperatures are cooler.

Q. What do I need to bring for Yanbaru trekking?

Waterproof trekking shoes, a hat, insect repellent, drinking water, and rain wear are required as basic equipment. Equipment rental is available for some tours. Please check each plan page for details.

The massive banyan tree was bursting with vitality—it was truly a sight to behold. The guide’s explanations were thorough, and I learned a lot about the nature of Yanbaru. However, since it was a bit muggy that day, I’ll give it 4 stars.

Our family took part in a river trekking tour at Ta Falls. Walking through the great outdoors of Yanbaru and playing in the waterfall pool were some of our best memories. The guide made sure we stayed safe, and we were very happy to receive free photos and videos.

I'm new to hiking, but the guide paced the hike well, so I was able to reach the summit without any trouble. The view overlooking the beautiful ocean is absolutely breathtaking! However, there were quite a few bugs, so insect repellent is a must.
