久茂地川は、沖縄県の資料で「安里川水系」の河川として指定されています。

旭橋

旭橋は、那覇バスターミナルのすぐ近くで久茂地川に架かる橋It is.

周辺は「旭橋地区かわまちづくり」として散策路や親水護岸などが整備されています。

夜景も楽しめるスポットとして紹介されていて、夕方のお散歩にもおすすめです！

毎年5月頃には、こいのぼりフェスタが開催されるなど、地域のイベントも盛んですよ。

カフーナ旭橋

カフーナ旭橋は、那覇バスターミナルを含む複合施設で、旭橋地区の拠点となっています。

周辺には駐車場（カフーナ旭橋パーキング）やトイレがあり、散策の前後に立ち寄りやすいのが嬉しいポイントです。

那覇バスターミナルから川辺までは徒歩約3分と、アクセスも良好。

サメの目撃情報はどこまで本当？

久茂地川では2022年に、サメとみられる生き物の目撃情報が報道で取り上げられています。

ただし、目撃情報と、行政や専門機関による種類の特定・確認は分けて考える必要があります。

那覇市内では、国場川で2019年にオオメジロザメの幼魚が確認されたと、琉球新報が報じています。

2026年7月には、波の上ビーチでもサメが目撃され、一時遊泳禁止となりました。

川でサメらしき生き物を見つけたときは、近づいたり触れたりせず、関係機関の案内に従いましょう。

釣りをする前に知っておきたいこと

久茂地川は、観光客や買い物客が行き交う街なかの川です。

川周辺で釣りをする場合は、現地の看板や立入規制を確認し、歩行者や周辺施設の利用者の迷惑にならないようにしましょう。
